Journalist | Producer | Chart-topping Podcast Host

Louise McLoughlin is a journalist, producer, and host, who has reported across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the U.S. Helped (in no small part, she’s sure) by her Irish/English accent, she started her career in Chicago as a radio news anchor, before moving on to CNN International in London.

Currently a short-film producer at VICE World News, she also has credits at NBC, Reuters, VICE, RTE, BBC, Grazia, The Irish Times, Metro et al. From covering terror attacks in Europe to interviewing stunt pilots while upside down in a plane, Louise is driven by a need to experience something new and dig a little deeper.

She is also the creator and host of the internationally chart-topping podcast ‘You Look Like Me’, which examines issues around identity, family secrets, and donor conception.

She has a special interest in covering women's rights, press freedom, humanitarian issues, mental health, and identity.
