Louise is a freelance broadcast journalist, interviewer and travel writer, currently at CNN International's London Bureau.

 

She has previously worked in broadcast and print journalism in Chicago, London, and Dublin, as well as writing for The Irish Times on assignment in Uganda.

She is also an award-winning journalist:

• Awarded the Simon Cumbers Media Fund 2015 to report on women's reproductive rights in Uganda for The Irish Times

• Awarded Print Journalist of the Year 2015 (DIT Student Media & Arts Awards, Dublin)

• Nominee for radio documentary of the year 2015 (Student Media Awards - Smedias, Dublin)
